A new favorite author for 2025?
I closed out 2024 with Joe Hill’s Ushers, a short story that blended the strange and philosophical in ways I didn’t see coming. Today marked my first finished story of 2025: The Pram, another Hill tale that’s as haunting as it is human. Two stories in, and I’m hooked.
Is it time to dive into one of his novels like NOS4A2 or The Fireman? Hill’s knack for mixing grief with the uncanny has left me eager for more—and curious about your recommendations.
Want to know why Hill’s growing on me?
